Do you accept self-referrals?The Woman’s Health Bus accepts self-referrals and referrals from health practitioners for people living in the areas we provide care. For further information, click the link through to our referrals page.

How do I pay?We accept EFTPOS on the bus (credit cards have a $5 extra charge) or you can pay online. WE DO NOT TAKE CASH PAYMENTS

Are you a registerted Southern Cross provider?Yes, we are.

How do I make an appointment?You can give us a call on 027 244 2430 or fill in a contact form on the website here.

Can I bring someone with me?Yes, we have space for you to bring a support person. (we are a small clinic though, so we can't fit the whole whanau!)

Do I need a referral from my Doctor?It is always helpful if we have as much information as possible to ensure you get the best care but we happily accept self referals.

Can you dispense drugs for me?No. We DO NOT stock drugs on the bus.

Can I get a prescription from you?Yes - however there will be a $15 charge, as we are a private non-profit making oganisation.

Do I need health insurance?No, but there will be a charge which covers the direct costs of providing care to you.

Do you take walk in visits?No sorry, you will have to make an appointment in advance.

Do you have wheelchair access?Sorry, we have looked at the options but at this time it is not possible.

Does the bus have stairs?Yes, there are three steps to get into the bus.

Does the bus have a toilet?Yes, we have a toilet with hot water.

Does your bed have a weight limit?Yes, the weight limit is 200kg.
